The owner
A roofing company run by an engineer
Scott Mason is a husband, a father of three, and the owner of Multi-Family Roofing LLC. He holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering Management and Technology from Purdue University and has spent more than 15 years building, repairing, and managing roofs. When you call us, the person who looks at your roof actually understands the engineering behind it: how loads move through the structure, how much airflow an attic needs, and how water really behaves on a roof plane.
That background changes how the work gets done. Unlike most roofing companies, our work is built to all local building codes and all manufacturer specifications, on every job. Cutting a corner on fasteners, underlayment, or flashing might save a crew an hour, but it costs the owner years of roof life. We do not make that trade.
Scott started this company because too many Indianapolis roofs were being quoted by salespeople and installed by whoever happened to be available that week. Here, the estimate, the plan, and the standard on the roof all come from the same place.

We treat the roof as one system
Shingles are the part you can see, but they are only one layer of what keeps a building dry. Multi-Family Roofing LLC serves residential, commercial, and multi-family shingled properties in Indianapolis, and we specialize in asphalt shingle roof installation and repair, attic insulation, attic ventilation, and gutter services. We look at the whole roof system together and recommend only the solutions that fit your project, nothing more.
Proper attic ventilation and insulation matter just as much as the shingle installation itself. An attic that runs hot and starved for air cooks shingles from below, shortens the life of the roof, and invites the kind of leaks that show up two winters later. Getting that balance right is our specialty. It is how we maximize the lifespan of your roof and prevent leaks before they start.
From small repairs to full installations and everything in between, our team is equipped for any project. The goal never changes: a durable, good looking exterior that stands up to Indiana weather season after season.
